ABOUT US
It’s a Passion for Song!
We are a group of volunteers who are passionate about music and choral singing. We had either been choristers together, colleagues or school friends with a shared love of singing. Bringing choral singing to our community both competitive and non -competitive, creating educational opportunities to enhance choral knowledge, celebrating the fun and joy of singing was all part of the vision for this festival. Enriching the social, cultural, artistic and economic landscape of our county town was also a motivating factor.
Honouring the rich choral tradition of Ennis and paying homage to the legacy of Ernest De Regge became an important focus for us as the dream began to take real shape. Ennis has much to offer in terms of facilities, hospitality and musical heritage both classical and traditional.

Mission & Vision
The mission of Spring Into Song is to celebrate the joy of choral singing by bringing choirs together for a weekend featuring competitions, workshops and performances. We aim to create a vibrant, enriching musical experience for performers and audiences alike.
At the heart of this festival is a commitment to foster community spirit through music and song, bringing local and visiting choirs together in a shared passion for singing.
Providing opportunities for performance is an important aspect of our mission where choirs of all levels, ages and musical experience can be showcased.
Supporting choral development through providing skill enhancing workshops and masterclasses facilitated by experienced conductors and musicians is an integral part of our mission.
